Pavlik a tenu une conférence de presse hier (Mardi 11-12-07), en présentation de son combat revanche du 16 Février.

Il a annoncé : "Je vais faire ce combat de la même manière que si je devais gagner le titre".

"Ce zéro défaite dans mon palmarès, il est là depuis longtemps, et je vais le garder comme tel. Ce combat va être un feu d'artifice, tout comme le premier combat. Vous savez ce qui va se passer dans ce combat à venir : Je vais être là et je vais balancer quantité de coups. Qu'est-ce qui va être différent avec le premier combat : rien"


Déclaration orginale :
"I'll still go into the fight like a title is on the line," said Pavlik. "That zero on my record has been there a long time and I want to keep it there....there's going to be fireworks in the ring, just like the first fight. You know what's going to happen in the next fight. I'm going to be there, I'm going to throw a lot of punches. What am I going to do that's different? Nothing!"
