je souhaite le meilleur pour Khedafi Djelkhir, je connais Jaques Deschamps que de nom, je sais qu'il s'occupe désormais aussi de Jimmy Colas mais j'ai du mal a imaginer que Kedou fasse un nom en Amérique du sud, certes il est spectaculaire, très promoteur avec un très bon palmarès amateur mais pas évident de passer devant un latino dans les petites catégorie, même si Djelkhir sera meilleur que eux mais les télévisions et les sponsor favoriseraient toujours leurs boxeurs. en plus de cela Deschamps n'est pas un grand promoteur, a chaque fois qu’il a affaire avec les promoteur européen il n'a pas le dernier mot, par exemple, il a envoyé deux fois Moreno et deux fois Cordoba en Allemagne pour affronter Sidorenko ainsi qu'une fois Cordoba en Irlande, en sachant que ses poulains pourrait se faire voler. Moreno disait aussi dans une interview qu’il aimerait bien défendre son titre en Europe car ça paye beaucoup plus.

Haitian (of French origin) promoter/manager Jacques Deschamps seems to be expanding his horizons with the rumored signing of two French Olympians and a former European Champion. The boxers who would join Deschamps’ growing stable are lightweight Daouda Sow and featherweight Khedafi Djelkhir (pictured with Deschamps). Both Sow and Djelkhir had stellar amateur careers: Kedhafi was European Champion in 2007 and won the silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Games. Sow also won silver in Beijing, losing a razor-thin (11-9) decision in the finals. As pros, Djelkhir is 3-0, 3 KOs and Sow is 1-0, 1 KO.

The other possible recruit for Deschamps is former European jr middleweight champion Jimmy ” Pitbull” Colas (27-6, 11 KOs), born in Haiti. About Colas, Deschamps had this to say “Jimmy’s style is not your typical European standup boxer and because of this, he was victimized in Europe. Four of Jimmy’s so-called losses were outright robbery. I believe his career will really flourish in this part of the world.” Jacques Deschamps is a senior partner of Premium Boxing Promotions who operates in Panama City and it is therefore conceivable that the (possible) recruits would likely pursue their career in the Isthmus nation.
